Classroom Wall Decals can Make Bulletin Boards and More

A classroom wall decal helps to beautify empty wall space with a motivating message. However, they are not just for walls. You can use them as a fast and easy way to get amazing bulletin boards for your classroom. They can also be applied to your classroom door design and to the front of your teacher desk (see the pictures below).

Tips for using a wall decal:
  • Don't apply on fresh paint (if you want it on a wall).
  • Don't apply a poly finish on top of it.

It's hard to see in the picture but this blue classroom bulletin board includes motivating posters and a motivating wall decal. No need to print or cut out any letters!

These elegant bulletin boards above were made using this: The Future of the World Is In This Classroom wall decal

Some wall decals are great for encouraging classroom kindness, like this 'Be the Reason Someone Smiles Today' decal above.

This teacher updated her table with a sheet of contact paper, then she added this motivating wall decal. See more ideas for updating your teacher table here in this blog post.

Classroom doors can be easily changed up in the same manner with bulletin board paper and a decal.

Your classrom door decal can be as simple as a welcome sign, an inspiring sentence, or it can be as wordy as a long greeting.

No wall space is wasted! Use up that tiny bit of wall space betweem your bulletin board and your ceiling with an inspiring message. This 'Believe in yourself' wall decal is being used by a middle school math teacher.

More ideas will be added soon.

About Me

My photo
As a Caribbean primary school teacher, I share my unique classroom with the world through this blog. Readers step into my class through the pictures, articles and classroom samples of games and lessons used in my class. I have been teaching since 2005 at the std. 4 primary level in Trinidad and Tobago. I am particularly interested in sharing my own personal lesson plans, tests and activities. Teachers need to share ideas and support each other because in doing so, we help to educate our students and develop ourselves as teachers. Technology is ever evolving and we as teachers should get on board with it, collaborate and keep up to date with this new age that we live in. Our students belong to this technological era and we must embrace opportunities to learn from each other in this global community. I also love to express my creativity in the classroom. I am a bit of a craftster . So I'm always cutting, gluing or making something... a game, a chart, a learning center, etc. So, teachers and parents, feel free to stop by and see what's new at Nyla's Crafty Teaching!
