Hollywood Classroom Decor and More

Hollywood Classroom theme

Roll out the red carpet for some lights, camera, action! A Hollywood classroom theme is all about putting the spotlight on your students' strong points; their best work, their improvements, and their growing portfolio of accomplishments. Every student gets that feeling of importance and is ready to always show what they can do. If you want to focus on getting your students to express themselves more and build their confidence in communicating with others or speaking to a group, then a Hollywood theme would be an ideal choice for your classroom. Besides, students love movies, TV, and celebrities so they would definitely be excited to have all of those elements reflected in the classroom decor.

I'll be showing you things that you can use to have a quick Hollywood classroom setup. Everything is ready-made and there's little to no assembly required. I love to find awesome classroom decor ideas. As an Amazon affiliate, I may earn a commission for purchases using my links. Learn more

Let's start with
 Banners and borders:

Hollywood Classroom bulletin board

Bulletin Board Accents:

A welcome bulletin board with a Hollywood theme. Each student's name is written on a Hollywood star.

The teacher who made this wanted a movie theme for her classroom. She used a film reel tape, popcorn, and Hollywood stars to make this 'Now Showing' bulletin board.

Instant ready-made Hollywood theme classroom door decoration. Another Hollywood Classroom Door cover with other Hollywood themed accents.

A D.I.Y. Hollywood backdrop for your classroom wall using rolls of yellow and black paper.

Another spotlight area for student's work is for them to be handed in at table station. A confetti bulletin board paper covers the front of the table. Wire trays. similar to these. are placed on the desk for students to hand in their work. The bulletin board on the wall brings in the Hollywood feel. Glittery gold letters and marquee letter cut outs are used for the bulletin board.

Wall backdrops:
Hollywood backdrop with the paparazzi on every side

This backdrop comes with photo props

Hall of Fame stars for the hall                           Balloon film accents - red star, film reel, and clapper

Film table cloth for meet the teacher night with wall accents above and paparazzi on the side.

Hollywood themed classroom door with Paparazzi props on the side wall.

This is really a DIY frame for taking pictures. If you use the similar accents (filmstrip, clappers and recorders) on a larger frame it would make a georgeous frame for a classroom bulletin board.

About Me

My photo
As a Caribbean primary school teacher, I share my unique classroom with the world through this blog. Readers step into my class through the pictures, articles and classroom samples of games and lessons used in my class. I have been teaching since 2005 at the std. 4 primary level in Trinidad and Tobago. I am particularly interested in sharing my own personal lesson plans, tests and activities. Teachers need to share ideas and support each other because in doing so, we help to educate our students and develop ourselves as teachers. Technology is ever evolving and we as teachers should get on board with it, collaborate and keep up to date with this new age that we live in. Our students belong to this technological era and we must embrace opportunities to learn from each other in this global community. I also love to express my creativity in the classroom. I am a bit of a craftster . So I'm always cutting, gluing or making something... a game, a chart, a learning center, etc. So, teachers and parents, feel free to stop by and see what's new at Nyla's Crafty Teaching!
