Gender Noun printables of persons and animals: these have the masculine and feminine names given to each category. So far, I created memory games and illustrated lists for each set of gender nouns. Masculine and feminine nouns in English, are really just for some animals and persons so reinforcement through activities with visuals are great for students to memorize these words. Below are sample pictures from the memory games and the lists.
Each set is available as a digital download for purchase at TpT and each link below takes you to each printable with a list of all of the gender nouns in each set.

Everybody gets stressed, even students. However, they can be taught to cope and manage it by becoming aware of their own feelings and finding ways to be centered, calm and able to just let go of worry. These are books below that are suitable for elementary students and they are all about helping children to have mindfulness so that they can prevent anxiety and depression from developing. A colleague of mine was starting her own TpT store the other day and complained that there wasn't much clip art available that was specifically for logo design. So it got me thinking... I used to make some clip art and still had random pieces that I made for my own products before I started buying clip art. I decided to make these available for sellers that are just starting out (get it here, it's free).
If you want to know where else you can get clip art that is for logo design, I know there are a few others on TPT and there is this free tutorial by Teacher's Clipart and YouTube has one that teaches you how to make your own logo. So check them out!

- As a Caribbean primary school teacher, I share my unique classroom with the world through this blog. Readers step into my class through the pictures, articles and classroom samples of games and lessons used in my class. I have been teaching since 2005 at the std. 4 primary level in Trinidad and Tobago. I am particularly interested in sharing my own personal lesson plans, tests and activities. Teachers need to share ideas and support each other because in doing so, we help to educate our students and develop ourselves as teachers. Technology is ever evolving and we as teachers should get on board with it, collaborate and keep up to date with this new age that we live in. Our students belong to this technological era and we must embrace opportunities to learn from each other in this global community. I also love to express my creativity in the classroom. I am a bit of a craftster . So I'm always cutting, gluing or making something... a game, a chart, a learning center, etc. So, teachers and parents, feel free to stop by and see what's new at Nyla's Crafty Teaching!
